Importing messages from Outlook Express 4 in Windows 95 to Outlook Express 6 in Windows XP When using the "Import Messages" option do you find that it stops and says it can't import the messages? Solution: When prompted to find the location of the old messages folder, don't select the "mail" folder. Select the folder ONE LEVEL UP. ie, select the folder that has the mail folder inside it, not the mail folder itself. Solution found by trial and error 9:15pm 23 April 2004 and reading an unassuming note at the bottom of one of many microsoft support documents (which didn't have the correct information on it but did get me thinking.)
